Yesterday we celebrated the launch of the 10th anniversary edition of the QS World University Rankings® – attracting hundreds of thousands of visits within the first 24 hours, front-page news coverage around the world, and some interesting conversations on social media – including a debate about whether the UK needs to find a new compound term to describe its leading universities (could “UCL-Imp” be the new “Oxbridge”?).

While primarily targeted at prospective international students, they’re also increasingly consulted by academics and university leaders, journalists, parents, employers and government agencies.
